PAMI has a team that specializes in all aspects of harvesting processes and methods, from cutting and gathering to threshing, separating, cleaning, material handling and loss determination.  PAMI is unique in having a complete set of combine field-test equipment.

To achieve the precise harvesting processes and methods requires well-designed, efficient and durable equipment, PAMI’s expertise extends to associated harvesting equipment functions such as power transmissions, controls, instrumentation, manuals, and safety.

The Harvesting Technologies Group can fit almost any client need: from serving in an advisory capacity, to research, to delivering a complete independently executed project, to working as an integral part of a client’s team.

PAMI provides experienced research and development services for a wide range of crops grown on the Canadian Prairies including:

  • Traditional cereal crops (wheat, oats, barley, etc.)
  • Oil seed crops (canola, flax)
  • Pulse crops (peas, beans, lentils)
  • Soybeans
  • Hay, forage and grass seed
  • Corn

PAMI is also available to work with equipment manufacturers and producers to research and develop or adapt harvesting equipment for any new crops that prairie producers
may grow.
