On-farm survey of Combine Grain Loss in Canola across Western-Canada – 2019
Canola is an essential crop in the Canadian Prairies and as with other crops, losses are an unfortunate part of harvest. To maximize their yields, producers need knowledge of their losses to effectively manage their harvest activities.
This project focused on obtaining a snap-shot of canola combine losses being experienced by producers across Western Canada, with a view to bringing further awareness to combine losses and educating producers on how to measure their losses.
