Integrated Field and Laboratory Testing

To accurately prove or modify a design or solve problems with an existing piece of equipment, field testing under real-world conditions is necessary and invaluable.  However, repeated field testing is costly in time and labour inputs, especially when testing alternative options.  Field testing may also be constrained by weather conditions. Having the ability to replicate real-time field conditions in the lab offers immense advantages.

PAMI is able to fully integrate field and laboratory testing by measuring and recording real-time performance data in the field and precisely simulating those conditions in the lab using its Remote Parameter Control (RPC) process. The process involves using sophisticated computer software to transfer field data to reproduce motion, force or strain using our vibration table or Multi Axial Simulation Table (MAST). This approach allows for fast and efficient testing.

Alternative designs or modifications can be testedquickly under identical conditions, which is not possible with field trials. As well, individual components that are part of complex equipment can be isolated and tested separately.
